Synopsis: --------- Ideally Me is a 7-10 minute long film about Gabrielle, a girl who lives in a fantasy world and dreams of meeting her ideal man, like a prince in a fairytale, and believes she has found this ideal in Danny (he is a perfect guy, "modern prince":good-looking, caring, charming and rich) She is endearing through her sincerity, romanticism and clumsiness. In various ways she attempts to "impress" Danny; to get her 'happy ending', but it does not work, guess why…a prince is gay. Gabrielle age:18-23 Build: slim Hair: brown Nationality: White/Caucasian Gabrielle is funny, naive and a bit clumsy - highly influenced by fairy tales and mass media; so many times she saw the ‘happy ending’ taking place on TV screen, magazines; time came to find her own prince. Through out a story she attempts to impress Danny in various ways; when she thinks she will get her happy ending..it appears prince is gay.. Danny Age:18-23 Build: Average Nationality: Caucasian/white Modern prince; good-looking, stylish, charismatic, friendly, charming : he has it all, but no matter all his attributes -he fancies guys , rather than girls. Gareth Age:18-23 Build: average Nationality: White/Caucasian Role: Gareth is Danny's "friend" ;he enjoys a good laugh; he doesn’t take life too seriously. Zoe Age:18-23 hair: black/blonde Build: average Role: Zoe is Gabrielle’s flatmate. She is very friendly and down to earth. She is fond of Gabrielle. Mr. Hearst Build: Chubby Hair: grey Role: Mr Hearts is a lecturer. He is responsible for placing Gabrielle and Danny together on a project. He speaks in a high pitched voice and appears enthusiastic about his role with the pupils. Shooting dates: 26th February 2008 – 2nd March 2008 Casting dates: Our casting day will be on the 7th and 15th February 2008. Locations: Will be in and around the London area. Benefits: Even though unpaid; travel expenses and food is paid and a copy of the film will be supplied in order to contribute to any show reels.
