 Actors for Feature Film
Based on an idea by Steve Bloor and written by Noel
Farrell, I Wish is a tense thriller set against the backdrop of the sleepy Irish village of Edenmore.
Ireland has just entered recession and Brian Ramsey is feeling the pinch. His restaurant business is struggling and the banks are tightening up. His wife Kate depends on her faith to get by life’s little tests, none so more at the moment than a daughter on the cusp of a rebellious stage and a sister who always seems to be there. Son Frankie looks forward to getting away from it all to Dublin where he looks forward to studying as a Doctor.
I wish is an exploration into the darker side of luck and it’s effects on one particular marriage, family and community as they are all thrown into the spotlight when someone wins a huge amount of money and the search begins to uncover the mystery winner.
Set over a period of one week in late August 2008, I wish takes you in and refuses to release you through a web of lies, deceit, greed and murder all the way to it’s devastating and horrific ending.
CASTING CALL
Green Mountain Films is pleased to announce the production of its debut feature film I Wish. Pre-production is well under way and the film is set to begin shooting in late June on locations in Co. Longford.
We are now looking start the casting progress and are putting out a call to interested actors who may wish to participate in the project. Please send CV's and head shots (if possible) to both e mail address' at the bottom of this post.
We will then endevour to arrange a number of audition days . One will be in Longford town with a second possibly elsewhere. A full cast list is available on request.
This is a low budget production and is relying heavily on people with a love for the filmmaking medium to bring this to completion. Most of the budget has been utilised to have the best equipment made available to us throughout the shoot in order to deliver the best possible production.
Payment will be deferred with a package put in place before the shoot commences in order to ensure should we make a profit it will be divided among participating cast and crew. Food will be made available throughout the shoot.
This will very much be a labour of love for those involved. We are actively seeking people to be involved with motivation that matches our own. If you are available through the months of July and Augest we would like to hear from you. If you have always felt there is an actor inside you just screaming to get out we would also like to hear from you. Above all we are looking for passionate people.

BVO is registered as a non-profit and non-government organisation under the
South Australian Associations Incorporation Act.
After working with various NGOs and INGOs we formed BEST Volunteer for a
different purpose.In our past experience, volunteers on placement were
also intrested in trekking, rafting, jungle safaris, sightseeing and more.
Therefore, we formed this organization so volunteers would able to
combine Volunteering and with other activities in our Experience Real
Nepal program. Volunteers can help in the community in one of our
programs
and are also able to participate in trekking, rafting, a jungle safari and
many more Nepali attractions through out VOLUNTEERING..........
This is such a unique opportunity to "Experience Real Nepal" while helping
in the community. You will get the chance to take part in trekking in
the himalayas, white water rafting, a jungle safari at Chitwan National
Park, sightseeing to UNESCO world heritage sites around Nepal and a
two days tour of the birth place of Lord Buddha.
In any of our volunteering programs Even though you will have the chance
to experience the Real Nepal program. For example, you could choose our
teaching program where you will have chance to partcipate in a homestay
