Born in Sydney, Karina Green started performing at an early age in most areas of the industry. Her first taste of show biz came at age ten advertising the play Jack & the Bean Stalk at Woodstock Players Community Radio Station. At age thirteen, Karina played A Pirate in Disney’s Peter Pan (the Ballet). During her school years, Karina started writing songs and sang in School Assemblies. A former student of the Elite School of Singing, Karina completed the 2001 Power of Acting (Theatre) program at the Australian Actors Centre. Her Actors Centre credits include: The Heart of Antarra, and A Road less Traveled. During her time at the Actors Centre, Karina participated in the opening ceremony of the 2001 NRL Season, at Sydney's Stadium Australia, and joined the ensemble cast of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat. She also participated in several theatre workshops with actors: Sonya Talis, Dean Carey, and David Van Vuuren. In 2002, Karina performed in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing and received an award for her portrayal of Balthazar and Watch Two. Her other theatre credits include: Headline News (Cozbi), The Merry Widow (A Grisette), Shakespeare's Macbeth & King Lea (The Third Witch), and Angles Unaware (A Towns Person). Karina has also done several dance productions including: The Senior Gala Performance Nights, Sydney's Festival of Dance, and Elance - Moving Ahead. Karina writes her own songs. Since 1997, Karina has performed in various Sydney venues including: Concord RSL Club, Western Sydney Rugby Club, The Illinois Hotel, Mancinies Italian Restaurant, The Sunday Lounge, and Five Dock RSL Club. Karina has also done charity work for various organizations including: The Field of Women, Compassion Child Sponsorship, The Malcom Sargent's Music A-thon, The AIDS Trust of Australia, and World Vision.
